Delete your 2Mig account

This page explains how to delete your account in 2Mig, the app and website operated by QAIT Inc., and what happens to your data when you do.

In the 2Mig app

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Tap the Your data row (it reads “Delete my data”).
3. Tap Delete my data.
4. In “Delete your account?”, tap Delete.

On the website

1. Sign in at 2mig.kz and open Settings.
2. In Close account, choose Close my account.
3. Type CLOSE and press Close account permanently.

In both cases the deletion runs when you confirm. It cannot be undone: signing in again creates a new, empty account.

Without the app, or if you cannot sign in

Email yera@2mig.kz from the address you use with 2Mig, with the subject “Delete my 2Mig account”. We may need to confirm the account is yours before we delete it.

What is deleted

• The personal data in every one of your applications — name, passport details, dates and the other profile fields, with the record of where each value came from.
• The documents you uploaded to those applications.
• Your email address and name in the account.
• Your sign-in links: every session on every device is ended, and we ask Apple to revoke Sign in with Apple access.
• Notification subscriptions, registered devices for push notifications, and linked messenger chats.

What is kept, and for how long

• Case journals: which steps happened and when, with internal identifiers and without your values.
• A record that the account was closed.
• Records the law requires us to keep, such as payments and submissions made on your behalf.
• Rewards already granted to the person who invited you.

Retention periods are not set yet. Legal review will set them, and they will be published in section 9 of the Privacy Policy. We do not state a period here until then.

Honest limits

• We cannot delete data an authority already holds, for example an application already submitted to a consulate.
• An older database backup can still hold your data after the live copy is deleted. Deletion is not yet provable against backups; that needs a managed key service, which is not in place yet.
